  • Total Time: 1 hour
  • Yield: 16 servings

Ingredients

– 2 to 2 1/4 cups bread flour

– 1 tablespoon granulated sugar

– 1 teaspoon salt

– 1 packet instant yeast

– 1 cup warm water

– 1/4 cup tomato sauce

– 1/4 cup barbecue sauce

– 8 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese

– 1/2 cup caramelized onions

– 5 slices cooked thick-cut bacon, cut into 1/4 inch pieces

Instructions

1-Make Dough: In a large bowl, combine 2 cups bread flour, sugar, salt, and instant yeast. Create a well in the center and pour in the warm water. Mix by hand until a dough forms.

2-Knead & Rise: Turn dough onto a floured surface and knead for 5 minutes until smooth, adding up to 1/4 cup more flour if sticky. Shape into a ball, place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place for 10 minutes.

3-Shape Crust: Turn risen dough onto a clean surface or parchment paper and stretch into a 12-inch round circle. Transfer to a pizza stone or baking sheet.

4-Top Pizza: Spread the tomato sauce and barbecue sauce evenly over the dough. Sprinkle with shredded mozzarella cheese, caramelized onions, and bacon pieces.

5-Bake: Place pizza in a preheated 500Β°F (260Β°C) oven and bake for 10 minutes. Allow to cool slightly before slicing.
