🍫 This Chocolate Whipped Cream Frosting is smooth, creamy, and fluffy, making it a perfect topping for cakes, cupcakes, cookies, or pies.
❄️ Using cold ingredients and proper chilling ensures a stable, rich frosting that whips to ideal peaks without becoming soupy.

  • Total Time: 10 minutes
  • Yield: Approximately 4 cups, enough for about 2 dozen cupcakes or one 6-inch layer cake

Ingredients

– 1 cup (8 oz. block) full fat cream cheese, cold

– 1 cup powdered sugar

– 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder, sifted

– 1 tablespoon vanilla extract or vanilla bean paste

– 2 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream, cold

Instructions

1-Chill equipment: Freeze the mixing bowl and whisk for 30 minutes.

2-Mix cream cheese: Beat until smooth on medium speed.

3-Add dry ingredients: Mix in powdered sugar, cocoa, and vanilla slowly.

4-Incorporate cream: Pour in heavy whipping cream gradually while mixing.

5-Whip to peaks: Stop when stiff peaks form, then use immediately.

6-Storage tip: Keep leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.

Notes

❄️ Chill mixing bowl and whisk to help achieve better whipping.
🧊 Use cold cream cheese and heavy cream straight from the fridge for best texture.
⏳ Add heavy cream slowly and watch closely to avoid overmixing and soupy frosting.
