Ingredients
Crescent roll dough
Brie cheese
Cranberry sauce (homemade or canned)
Pecans (chopped)
Fresh rosemary sprigs (for garnish)
Orange zest (optional)
Honey (optional)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F and grease a mini muffin tin.
2. Cut crescent roll dough into 24 squares and place each square into a muffin cup.
3. Cut brie cheese into small pieces and place one piece in each dough cup.
4. Top each brie-filled cup with a spoonful of cranberry sauce.
5. Sprinkle chopped pecans over the cranberry sauce.
6. Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes or until the pastry is golden brown.
7. Remove from oven and let cool slightly before garnishing with fresh rosemary sprigs for a festive touch.
8. Serve warm for the best texture and flavor, as the cheese will firm up as it cools.
9. If making ahead, reheat briefly before serving.
10. Enjoy as a festive holiday appetizer with crackers, crostini, or apple slices for dipping.
Notes
Add a sprinkle of orange zest or a drizzle of honey before baking for an extra touch of sweetness and flavor.
Use puff pastry instead of crescent dough for a flakier and more buttery texture.
Make these ahead of time and reheat them briefly in the oven before serving to keep the brie warm and melty.
