🍎 Enjoy a quick and delicious way to prepare crispy and flavorful apples using your air fryer.
⏱️ This recipe offers a simple, healthy treat that comes together in just 15 minutes, perfect for busy days or satisfying snacks.

  • Total Time: 15 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale

4 small to medium apples (Gala, Fuji, Honey Crisp, Golden Delicious, Pink Lady, or Granny Smith)

1Β½ teaspoons cinnamon

1 tablespoon vegetable or canola oil (coconut oil optional)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 tablespoons melted butter

2 tablespoons sugar (or substitute with pure maple syrup, honey, or brown sugar)

Instructions

1-Remove apple cores and slice apples into 1/2 inch thick slices. Peeling is optional, but it helps if you want a smoother texture.

2-Toss apple slices with oil, vanilla extract, and half of the cinnamon (ΒΎ teaspoon) to coat them evenly for the best flavor infusion.

3-Preheat the air fryer to 380Β°F to get that ideal heat for crisping without burning.

4-Arrange apple slices in the air fryer basket in as close to a single layer as possible. Lightly spraying the basket with oil is optional for extra non-stick help.

5-Air fry for 10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through cooking (after 5 minutes) to ensure even cooking on all sides.

6-Transfer cooked apples to a bowl and toss with melted butter, the remaining cinnamon (ΒΎ teaspoon), and sugar (or your chosen substitute) for a final flavor boost.

7-Serve immediately to enjoy that fresh, crispy goodness at its peak.

Notes

🍏 Slice apples just before cooking to prevent browning.
🍎 Choose firm, crisp, and sweet apple varieties like Gala, Fuji or Honey Crisp.
πŸ”₯ Monitor apples closely during cooking to avoid overcooking; check every 2 minutes after shaking.
