  • Total Time: 25 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

– 2 tablespoons of butter

– 1 pound of ground beef

– 4 cloves of minced garlic

– 1/2 teaspoon of onion powder

– 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder

– 1/2 teaspoon of Italian seasoning

– 2 cups of chicken broth

– 1 cup of heavy cream

– 1/2 cup of freshly grated Parmesan cheese

– 8 ounces of linguine or fettuccine pasta

– Fresh chopped parsley for serving

– Kosher salt to taste

– Freshly ground black pepper to taste

– Gluten-free linguine for gluten-free diets

– Plant-based crumbles for vegan options

– Olive oil for lighter versions

Instructions

1-Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a skillet over medium heat and add 1 pound of ground beef, seasoned with kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste; brown it while breaking it apart.

2-Stir in 4 cloves of minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds, then add 1/2 teaspoon of onion powder, 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder, and 1/2 teaspoon of Italian seasoning.

3-Pour in 2 cups of chicken broth, 1 cup of heavy cream, and 8 ounces of linguine or fettuccine pasta; stir to submerge the pasta and bring to a low simmer.

4-Cover and cook on low heat for about 10 minutes until the pasta is tender and most liquid is absorbed, stirring occasionally and adding more broth if needed.

5-Stir in 1/2 cup of freshly grated Parmesan cheese and adjust seasoning; serve with fresh chopped parsley.

Notes

🧈 Brown beef in butter first to enhance flavor and color.
🧄 Use both fresh garlic and garlic powder for a stronger garlic flavor.
