Ingredients
3 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons olive oil
5 large garlic cloves minced
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1 pound medium shrimp peeled and deveined, tails left intact if desired
Juice and zest of 1 large lemon
1/4 cup chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley
Kosher salt to taste
Freshly ground black pepper to taste
Instructions
1-Heat 3 tablespoons butter and 2 tablespoons olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until sizzling.
2-Add 5 minced garlic cloves and 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes; cook and stir about 30 seconds until fragrant.
3-Add 1 pound medium shrimp; cook and stir until shrimp are just cooked through, about 3 to 4 minutes.
4-Stir in the juice and zest of 1 large lemon and 1/4 cup chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley.
5-Season with Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.
6-Transfer to serving bowl or platter and serve immediately.
