πŸ§€ Grilled Cheese Roll Ups: Quick Kid-Friendly Recipe are a fun and tasty way to enjoy classic grilled cheese with less mess and quicker prep.
πŸ”₯ Perfect for busy weeknights or kid-approved snacks, these roll ups are crispy on the outside and gooey inside.

  • Total Time: 10 minutes
  • Yield: 8 roll ups 1x

Ingredients

Scale

8 slices white bread, crusts removed

8 slices sharp cheddar cheese or Monterey Jack, Colby, or Swiss

Melted butter for brushing

Instructions

1-Roll out each bread slice flat with a rolling pin to make it easier to wrap around the cheese.

2-Place one slice of cheese (or 2 3 tablespoons grated cheese) onto each flattened bread slice for that perfect gooey center.

3-Roll up the bread tightly around the cheese and secure with a toothpick to hold everything in place.

4-Brush the exterior with melted butter or roll quickly in melted butter for a crispy finish.

5-Cook in a pan over medium heat, starting seam-side down. Turn with tongs until all sides are golden brown and the cheese melts. Alternatively, cook in an air fryer at 390Β°F in a single layer until golden brown.

Notes

🍞 Use fresh bread to avoid cracking while rolling.
πŸ”₯ Cook seam-side down first to help roll-ups hold together; remove toothpicks after browning for even heating.
🧈 Add extra butter during cooking if needed to prevent sticking and promote browning.
