Ingredients
Pasta (penne, fettuccine, or shell)
Ground beef
Garlic (minced)
Heavy cream
Butter
Parmesan cheese (grated)
Italian seasoning
Salt
Black pepper
Parsley (fresh, chopped, for garnish)
Optional: Peas or broccoli (if desired)
Optional: Jarred Alfredo sauce (as a shortcut)
Instructions
1. Boil a pot of water and cook the pasta according to the package instructions, then drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
3. Add minced garlic and Italian seasoning to the ground beef, stirring to combine.
4. Drain any excess grease from the skillet if necessary.
5. Lower the heat and pour in the heavy cream and butter, stirring until the butter melts.
6. Gradually add grated Parmesan cheese, stirring until the sauce becomes smooth and creamy.
7. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat it evenly with the Alfredo sauce.
8. Season with salt and pepper to taste, adjusting flavors as needed.
9. If desired, mix in additional vegetables like peas or broccoli and cook for a few more minutes.
10. Let the pasta simmer for a couple of minutes to allow the flavors to blend.
11. Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley and extra Parmesan cheese.
12. Serve hot and enjoy your Ground Beef Alfredo Pasta.
Notes
Use freshly grated Parmesan instead of pre-packaged cheese for a smoother and richer Alfredo sauce.
Brown the ground beef thoroughly and drain excess grease to avoid a greasy sauce while keeping the flavors intact.
Add steamed broccoli or peas for extra texture and a pop of color while keeping the dish balanced and hearty.
