Start by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lining a cookie sheet it’s that simple! This process is fun and straightforward, even if you’re a beginner baker.

First, separate the M&M candies by color into small bowls to keep things organized. In a mixing bowl, sift together the flour, baking soda, salt, and cocoa powder for a smooth blend. Next, in a separate large bowl, cream the butter and both sugars with an electric mixer until they’re fluffy and light.

Beat in the eggs and vanilla extract until everything mixes well, then gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ones, stirring until just combined.
