Instructions
1-First, preheat your oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
2-In a large bowl, cream the softened butter with brown sugar and honey until light and fluffy, which creates a solid base for your dough.
3-Next, beat in the egg and water until everything is smooth and well mixed in about a minute, youβll have that wet mixture ready.
4-Now, in another bowl, sift together the flour, baking soda, and salt, then stir in the oats to combine the dry ingredients.
5-Gradually add this to the wet mixture, stirring until a uniform dough forms, and fold in any optional add-ins like raisins or chocolate chips.
6-Drop heaping teaspoonfuls of dough onto your prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
7-Bake for 12 to 15 minutes until the edges turn golden, then let the cookies cool on a wire rack before serving.
