🐔 This Honey Pepper Chicken Pasta combines sweet honey and spicy black pepper for a flavorful and satisfying meal.
🍝 It features tender chicken and creamy pasta, perfect for a quick dinner that balances rich and zesty flavors.

  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

– 2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts

– 2 tablespoons olive oil

– Salt and pepper to taste

– 2 tablespoons honey

– 1 tablespoon black pepper (adjustable)

– 12 oz penne pasta or preferred pasta

– 1 cup heavy cream

– ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

– 1 tablespoon fresh parsley for garnish

– 1 tablespoon minced garlic

– 1 tablespoon butter

Instructions

1-First step: Cook the 12 oz penne pasta in salted boiling water until al dente and reserve ½ cup pasta water; set the pasta aside.

2-Second step: Season the 2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts with salt and pepper to taste; heat 2 tablespoons olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and cook for 5 6 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through, then let it rest and slice.

3-Third step: In the same skillet, melt 1 tablespoon butter and sauté 1 tablespoon minced garlic for about 1 minute until fragrant.

4-Building the Sauce: Add 1 cup heavy cream and simmer gently. Stir in 2 tablespoons honey and 1 tablespoon black pepper, adjusting to taste.

Then, add ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and smooth.

5-Combining Everything: Return the pasta and sliced chicken to the skillet, tossing to coat; add the reserved ½ cup pasta water if needed. Garnish with 1 tablespoon fresh parsley if desired and serve while warm.

Notes

🍝 Penne works well but fettuccine or rotini can also hold the sauce effectively.
🍤 Substitute chicken with shrimp, salmon, or tofu for variety.
🌿 Add sautéed mushrooms, spinach, or roasted red peppers for color and nutrition.
