🧀 Savor a creamy, cheesy Shrimp Dip loaded with fresh herbs and zesty flavors, perfect for entertaining or a tasty snack.
🍤 This recipe combines succulent shrimp with a smoky, mildly spicy blend of cheeses and seasonings for a delicious appetizer experience.

  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 12 servings

Ingredients

– 8 ounces softened cream cheese

– 1/3 cup mayonnaise

– 1/4 cup sour cream

– 1 1/4 cups shredded cheddar cheese

– 1 1/4 cups shredded pepper jack cheese

– 1/2 tablespoon seafood seasoning blend

– 1 teaspoon savory sauce

– 3 to 4 dashes hot sauce

– 16 ounces cooked shrimp, chopped

– 2 cloves garlic, minced

– 3 green onions, thinly sliced

Instructions

1-Cook shrimp if not pre-cooked by steaming, sautéing, or grilling, then peel and chop into about 4 pieces each. This ensures the shrimp is succulent and ready to blend into the mix.

2-Using an electric mixer, beat 8 ounces softened cream cheese, 1/3 cup mayonnaise, 1/4 cup sour cream, 3/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese, 3/4 cup shredded pepper jack cheese, 1/2 tablespoon seafood seasoning blend, 1 teaspoon savory sauce, and 3 to 4 dashes hot sauce until smooth and creamy.

3-Gently fold in the chopped shrimp, 2 cloves minced garlic, and 3 thinly sliced green onions to distribute the flavors evenly without overmixing.

4-Spoon the mixture into a baking dish for even baking and that perfect bubbly finish.

5-Top with the remaining 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese and 1/2 cup shredded pepper jack cheese to create a golden, melted layer.

6-Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20-25 minutes, until the cheese is fully melted and the edges are lightly browned, watching closely to avoid overbaking.

7-Optionally garnish with whole shrimp, sliced green onions, or chopped parsley before serving to add a fresh touch.

Notes

🌶 Substitute seafood seasoning blend with Cajun seasoning or add minced jalapeño for extra heat.
⏰ Prep the dip up to 24 hours ahead; remove plastic wrap 30 minutes before baking to reach room temperature.
🥒 Serve with low-carb options like cucumber rounds and celery sticks for a lighter pairing.
