Ingredients
– ¼ cup dill pickle relish
– 1 lb ground beef
– 3 tablespoons ketchup
– 3 tablespoons mustard
– 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
– 4 garlic cloves, minced
– 1 can cream of mushroom soup (standard size)
– 1 bag (24 oz) French fries
Instructions
1-Cook 1 lb ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until no longer pink. Drain the fat thoroughly using a colander for a cleaner dish.
2-Transfer the cooked beef to a 9×13 baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
3-In a small bowl, combine ¼ cup dill pickle relish, 3 tablespoons ketchup, 3 tablespoons mustard, 4 minced garlic cloves, and 1 can of cream of mushroom soup. Mix everything well for a flavorful sauce.
4-Pour the sauce mixture evenly over the beef in the baking dish, making sure it’s nice and coated.
5-Sprinkle 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the sauce layer for that gooey topping.
6-Cover the entire casserole surface with 1 bag (24 oz) French fries straight from the freezer no need to thaw them!
7-Bake in the preheated oven for about 40 minutes, then remove and serve immediately for the best taste and texture.
Notes
🍟 Use frozen French fries directly without thawing for best texture.
🌶 Add cooked bacon or jalapeños to enhance the flavor.
🔥 Reheat leftovers in the oven or broiler for crispier fries.
