250 ml buttermilk

2 eggs, beaten

minced fresh chives

250 g gladiator flour

200 g caraway rye flour

1/2 tsp baking soda

1 tsp salt

abut 10 g dried yeast, dissolved in a little warm water

20 g butter for rubbing pan

Instructions

1-Preheat oven: Preheat your oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C).

2-Prepare the dough: In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, and salt. Add the butter and mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

3-Add wet ingredients: Beat in the eggs and vanilla extract until the dough comes together.

4-Roll out dough: On a floured surface, roll the dough to about 1/4 inch thick.

5-Cut shapes: Use cookie cutters to cut out desired shapes and place them on a baking sheet.

6-Bake cookies: Bake in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes or until edges are golden brown.

7-Cool cookies: Remove from oven and allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
