🥭 Savor the tropical explosion of sweet mango and tangy passion fruit in this refreshing smoothie, packed with vitamins and natural energy for a healthy boost!

🍹 Ready in just 5 minutes, it’s perfect for busy mornings or post-workout refreshment, customizable for your taste!

  • Total Time: 5 minutes
  • Yield: 1 serving

Ingredients

– 1 dl frozen mango for sweet base and thick texture

– 1/2 dl frozen passion fruit for tangy tropical flavor

– 1 small banana for creaminess and natural sweetness

– 2 tablespoons protein powder for more filling and higher in protein

– 1 dl milk for blending

– 3 to 4 ice cubes for extra cold and refreshing

– 1/2 fresh passion fruit for fresh burst of flavor and pretty finish

Instructions

1-First step: Prepare the glass Start with the optional fresh passion fruit. Cut it in half and scrape the flesh and juice into a glass. This gives the finished drink a fresh, juicy layer of flavor at the bottom. If you want a cleaner look, you can also save the fresh passion fruit for the top after blending.

2-Second step: Add the smoothie base to the blender Place the frozen mango, frozen passion fruit, small banana, milk, and optional protein powder into the blender. Add the 3 to 4 ice cubes as well. Keeping the fruit frozen is important because it gives the smoothie a thick, chilled finish without needing extra sweeteners or complicated steps.

3-Third step: Blend until smooth Blend on high speed until the mixture looks even and creamy. If your blender struggles at first, stop it once, use a spoon or spatula to move the fruit around, and blend again. The texture should be smooth with no large chunks. If the mixture seems too thick, add a splash more milk. If it looks too thin, add one or two more ice cubes or a little more frozen mango.

4-Fourth step: Check the taste and texture Taste the smoothie before pouring it out. If you used protein powder, the drink may taste more neutral, so the fruit balance becomes even more important. If you want a sweeter result, use a riper banana. If you want a brighter taste, add a little more passion fruit. The smoothie should be cold, creamy, and easy to sip.

5-Final step: Pour and serve Pour the blended smoothie into the prepared glass over the fresh passion fruit juice and flesh, then serve right away. The fresh fruit at the bottom adds a burst of flavor with each sip. If you like a little extra style, top it with a small spoonful of passion fruit pulp or a few tiny mango cubes.

Notes

🥭 Swap milk for a plant-based alternative like almond or oat milk to make it vegan-friendly!

💪 Use neutral or vanilla-flavored protein powder to boost protein without altering the tropical taste.

❄️ Add extra ice cubes or freeze the banana beforehand for an ultra-chilled, thicker consistency.
