🍔 Bite into these Mini Man Burgers for a satisfying and flavorful feast perfect for both indoor and outdoor cooking.
🌟 Perfect for gatherings, these burgers offer a bold taste with minimal prep and quick cook time.

  • Total Time: 33 minutes
  • Yield: 8 mini burgers

Ingredients

– 8 buns or rolls

– 1 pound ground chuck or turkey

– ½ teaspoon onion powder

– ½ teaspoon garlic powder

– ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

– ½ teaspoon kosher salt

– 1 small tomato

– 2 to 3 tablespoons mayonnaise

– 1 to 2 tablespoons ketchup or chili sauce

– 2 teaspoons sweet pickle relish

Instructions

1-First Step: Gather and prep ingredients
Collect all ingredients, including ground chuck or turkey, seasonings (onion powder, garlic powder, black pepper, salt), buns or rolls, and sauce components (mayonnaise, ketchup or chili sauce, sweet pickle relish). If using tomatoes, slice them thinly. Set your oven and cooking equipment ready (griddle, skillet, or grill).

2-Second Step: Mix seasoning
In a small bowl, combine onion powder, garlic powder, freshly ground black pepper, and kosher salt. This blend will provide balanced savory flavor to your burger patties.

3-Third Step: Make the sauce
In a separate bowl, mix 2 to 3 tablespoons mayonnaise, 1 to 2 tablespoons ketchup or chili sauce, and 2 teaspoons sweet pickle relish. Adjust quantities to taste for your signature mayonnaise sauce. Set aside for serving.

4-Fourth Step: Flatten and season the meat
Line a jellyroll or sheet pan with parchment paper and place the ground meat in the center. Cover with plastic wrap, and use a rolling pin to roll the meat very thin, spreading evenly to cover the pan surface. Remove plastic wrap and evenly sprinkle the seasoning mix over the meat.

5-Fifth Step: Cut patties
Fold the meat in half carefully using the parchment paper as support, then cut into 8 equal squares with a pizza cutter or sharp knife. These squares will form your mini patties that cook quickly and evenly.

6-Sixth Step: Preheat and warm buns
Preheat your oven to 250°F (120°C). Wrap the buns in foil and warm them in the oven for 5 to 10 minutes to keep them soft and fresh for serving.

7-Seventh Step: Cook the mini patties
Heat your griddle, cast iron skillet, or gas grill to approximately 350°F (175°C). Cook the patties for 2 to 3 minutes on each side, flipping gently until fully cooked and browned.

8-Final Step: Assemble and serve
Remove the warmed buns from the oven and spread a small amount of the prepared mayonnaise sauce on each bun half. Add the cooked mini burger, tomato slices if using, and any additional preferred toppings such as cheese, bacon, or pickles. Serve immediately for the best taste and texture.

Notes

🧂 Rolling the meat thin ensures even cooking and easier shaping.
🧀 Cheese like feta or gouda can be added inside patties for flavor.
🌶️ For a spicier sauce, add chipotle or diced smoked jalapeños sparingly.
