🍠 Baked Sweet Potato Fries: Crispy and Healthy Homemade Recipe are a nutritious alternative to traditional fries, offering a deliciously crispy texture with less oil.
🔥 Perfect for a guilt-free snack or side dish, these fries bring flavor and health benefits together with simple ingredients and easy preparation.

  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

– 4 medium sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into thin sticks about 1/4 inch by 3 inches

– ½ teaspoon kosher salt

– ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper

– ¼ teaspoon garlic powder

– ¼ teaspoon paprika or chili powder (optional)

– 2 tablespoons oil (such as canola or olive oil)

Instructions

1- Preheat oven to 415°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly spray foil with nonstick cooking spray to prevent sticking.

2- Mix salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika (or chili powder, if using) in a small bowl until well combined.

3- Place sweet potato sticks in a single layer on the baking sheet. Toss them with oil, making sure they’re evenly coated, then sprinkle the seasoning mixture over the fries.

4- Bake for 15 minutes, then flip the fries to ensure even cooking. Continue baking for an additional 10 to 15 minutes or until they’re crisp and golden.

5- Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce for the ultimate treat!

Notes

🥔 Cut sweet potatoes into even 1/4 inch thick sticks for uniform cooking.
🌿 Peeling is optional; skins add texture and nutrients, but peeling results in smoother fries.
🔥 Do not overcrowd the baking sheet; arrange fries in a single layer and flip halfway for best crispiness.
