🍝 Enjoy a delicious twist on classic lasagna with this easy ravioli lasagna recipe that combines convenience and comforting flavors.
πŸ§€ Perfect for busy nights, this dish layers frozen ravioli with marinara and cheese for a satisfying meal with minimal prep.

  • Total Time: 55 minutes
  • Yield: 6 servings

Ingredients

– 2 jars (25 oz each) marinara sauce

– 40 oz frozen cheese ravioli

– 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

– 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

– 1/3 cup chopped fresh basil leaves for garnish

Instructions

1-Getting started with this Ravioli Lasagna Bake: Begin by preheating it to 400Β°F and spraying a 9Γ—13 inch baking dish with cooking spray to keep everything from sticking. This simple step sets the stage for a mess-free meal.

2-Next: spread half of the marinara sauce evenly across the bottom of the dish. This creates a moist base for the layers. Then, add half of the ravioli over the sauce, arranging them nice and even no need to thaw them first, which saves you time.

3-Now: sprinkle 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese and 1/4 cup of Parmesan cheese on top for that gooey layer. Repeat the process with the remaining sauce, ravioli, and another layer of sauce. Finish it off by scattering the rest of the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese over the top.

4-Cover the dish with aluminum foil, making sure the side facing the food is sprayed to avoid any sticking. Bake it covered for 30 minutes, then uncover and bake for an additional 15 minutes until the cheese melts and the sauce bubbles. Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving, and add fresh basil if you like for a fresh touch.

5-For variations, you can mix in cooked ground beef or sausage, or veggies like spinach, mushrooms, zucchini, or peppers between the layers. If you want a crispy top, broil it uncovered for 2-3 minutes at the end. This recipe is flexible, so feel free to make it your own.
