Instructions

1-Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

2-Prepare the dough: In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, and salt. Add butter and mix until the texture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in water until the dough forms a ball.

3-Roll out the dough: On a floured surface, roll out the dough to fit a 9-inch pie plate. Place the dough in the plate and trim any excess.

4-Make the filling: In another bowl, combine sliced apples, sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice. Toss to coat evenly.

5-Assembly: Pour the apple mixture into the prepared crust. Dot with butter. Cover with the top crust, seal edges, and cut slits in the top for steam to escape.

6-Bake the pie: Bake in the preheated oven for 50 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
