- 1/2 cup butter (one stick)
- 2 cups butterscotch morsels (one full bag)
- 2 cups light brown sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350β (175β) and grease a 13 x 9-inch baking dish.
- In a medium-sized saucepan, combine the butter and butterscotch morsels. Melt over medium heat, stirring continuously until smooth.
- Transfer the mixture into a large mixing bowl and stir in the light brown sugar until well combined.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition. Then add the vanilla extract.
- Fold in the sifted flour, baking powder, and salt gently until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for approximately 35 minutes. Check for doneness with a cake tester.
- Allow the brownies to cool in the pan on a wire rack for 10-15 minutes before cutting.
Notes
For added flavor, consider mixing in chocolate chips or nuts. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
